OUR GREEN CREDENTIALS: THE EUROPA COMMITMENT
When we started EuropaStudy we had a simple goal in mind; to help people settle into student life without having to worry about all of the administrative tasks that come along with studying. Studying opens up so many avenues to us from career advancement to making new friends from every part of the world. It also serves a purpose in helping us to learn about things we never dreamt possible and, for many, academia has opened their eyes to the changes happening across our planet; from glaciers melting to animals dying from ingesting plastics.
We don't think it has to be this way.
Every time a student signs up with us we plant a tree to mark the start of their journey with EuropaStudy - we even let them choose where it will be planted, whether it be in their home country or in a land far away. Of course a tree isn't going to save the earth on its own and that's why our website is hosted on servers powered by 100% green energy. Not only this but the home of one of our founders is powered entirely from green energy too (the others will be switching ASAP).
You can be sure that we use public transport and bikes where possible and always try to reduce our plastic consumption. Our commitment goes far beyond corporate values, it's a whole lifestyle for us and it's something we live by every single day to play our part in reducing the effects of climate change on our planet.
We hope you will join us in reducing your dependency on private transport where possible, instead using public transport like buses, trains, trams, and metros. We don't all need to go vegan but having even one day every week where we don't eat any meat can add up very quickly to make a difference + you might even lose some weight and feel a bit healthier!
So get out and ride a bike, switch your energy to 100% green and try to follow in the footsteps of people like Greta Thunberg as we help tackle climate change once and for all. After all, what's the point in studying if there's no planet left to live in when you graduate?
